19 - 24 mini white marshmallows
20 - Pink decorating gel or pink fondant
21 - 1/2 cup white fondant
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
02 - Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
04 - Pour wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir just until incorporated.
05 - Divide batter evenly among liners and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool fully on a wire rack.
06 - Beat softened butter until creamy. Gradually sift in powdered sugar and cocoa powder and beat until smooth. Add milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt; continue beating until fluffy.
07 - Spread chocolate buttercream atop cooled cupcakes, shaping mounds to resemble soil.
08 - Sprinkle crushed chocolate sandwich cookies over the buttercream to simulate earth.
09 - Shape white fondant into small ovals for bunny feet and a round ball for the tail. Use pink gel or fondant to add paw pads to the feet.
10 - Place two fondant feet and one tail on each cupcake to appear like a bunny diving underground. Optionally, use mini marshmallows to add tail fluff.
11 - Display cupcakes on a tray arranged to form a playful bunny burrow scene.
