07 - 12 small star-shaped candies or yellow M&Ms

# Directions:
01 - In a large saucepan set over low heat, melt the butter. Add mini marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
02 - Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract along with several drops of green food coloring until the desired hue is achieved.
03 - Quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated with the green marshmallow mixture.
04 - Allow the mixture to cool for 1 to 2 minutes until it is warm but manageable for shaping.
05 - Lightly grease your hands with nonstick spray or butter and form the mixture into 12 cone-shaped trees.
06 - If desired, gently insert a pretzel stick into the base of each tree to serve as a trunk.
07 - Adorn the trees with mini M&Ms or sprinkles to mimic ornaments, pressing a star-shaped candy or yellow M&M on each peak.
08 - Place the shaped trees on parchment paper and let them cool at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes until firm.
