Ingredients
- Dough: 1 can (400 g) refrigerated biscuit dough (e.g. Pillsbury Grands)
- Filling: 120 g cream cheese softened, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Topping: 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted, 60 g powdered sugar, 1–2 tbsp milk, 2 tbsp festive sprinkles
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2:
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Step 3:
- Separate the biscuit dough into 12 pieces. Flatten each into a 7 cm (3 inch) round.
- Step 4:
- Place 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling in the center of each round. Fold up the edges and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.
- Step 5:
- Arrange biscuit balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 6:
- Brush each with melted butter.
- Step 7:
- Bake for 14–16 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Step 8:
- While baking, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to make a smooth glaze.
- Step 9:
- Remove biscuits from oven, let cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with glaze and decorate with festive sprinkles.
